Beverly's writing career literally leaped forward from the world of dance, where she established herself as a Bay Area dance and theater critic interviewing such notables as Marcel Marceau, prima ballerina Cynthia Gregory, choreographers Paul Taylor and Alwin Nikolais, actress Angela Lansbury, and First Lady Betty Ford. Beverly holds an M.A. in Dance and Creative Arts from New York University and several California State professional teaching credentials in English writing, ESL, and as a Learning Specialist. She has received numerous accolades in the fields of travel writing, education, and international public relations. She was mentioned by BATW for an Award of Excellence in Newspaper Travel Writing. An award-winning public relations specialist, she spearheaded strategic global plans for international conferences and partnership events for high-profiled clients from Japan to Europe. Her clients spanned a wide range of industries: health, education, technology, arts, entertainment, travel, and food. ![]() Mann’s articles have been published in more than 100 publications locally, nationally, and internationally as far as Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
